Calvados Smash Cocktail   Veg    CD   PFC    3mins

 

Serves 1  Cold  Vegetarian    Party  Cocktails   Drinks

 

Ingredients:

   2-3 Ice Cubes

   2 tbsp Mixed Fruit

   1 teasp Caster Sugar

   Soda Water

   3 Sprigs Fresh Mint

   30ml/1fl.oz. Calvados

   3 dashes Crème de Menthe

   1 dash Benedictine

   Apple Juice

 

Instructions

 

1. Crush the ice and place in a tall glass together with the fruit.

 

2. Place the sugar and mint leaves, a shot of soda water in a shaker and crush with a spoon.

 

3. Add the Calvados, crème de menthe and Benedictine and shake well.

 

4. Strain into the glass containing the fruit and top up with apple juice.

 

 

N.B. Don't be tempted to mix the cocktail directly in the serving glass, as this drink shouldn't be served with the ice. There's nothing worse than having watered down cocktails !
