Spiced Cider Punch  Veg   HT PFC     British   15mins

 

 

Serves   10      Hot      Drink Vegetarian  Party    Cocktails

 

Ingredients:

   2 Red Apples, cored halved and sliced

   1.5L/50fl.oz. (2 UK pints)  Cider

   8 Cinnamon Sticks

   75g/3oz Raisins

   2 teasp Whole Cloves

   1 Orange, thinly sliced

   1 Lemon, thinly sliced

   120ml/4fl.oz. Lemon Juice

 

Instructions

 

1. Place the sliced apples, cider, cinnamon sticks, raisins and cloves in a large saucepan. Bring to boil then reduce the heat and simmer 5 to 8 minutes or until apples are just tender. 


2. Remove the cloves, and add orange and lemon slices, and lemon juice. Blend well.


To serve - transfer to a punch bowl and ladle into warmed glasses making sure you include some of the fruit in each glass. Serve hot.

A festive punch to serve at Christmas suitable for all the family.
