tbsp Oil 2
tbsp finely chopped Onions 2
teasp Freshly grated Root Ginger 1
Medium Chili Pepper, finely chopped 1
teasp Ground Lemon Grass 1
teasp Ground Coriander 1
teasp Ground Turmeric
½
teasp Salt 50g/2oz
Sultanas 225g/8oz
Long-Grain Rice 480ml/16fl.oz.
Water Instructions 1.
Heat the oil in a large saucepan, add the onions, ginger and chilli and stir fry
for 3 minutes. 2.
Add the lemon grass, coriander and turmeric and stir fry for 1 minute. 3.
Add the sultanas, rice and water, bring to simmering point over a medium heat
then cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender. 4. Remove from heat, fluff up with a fork and serve immediately.
