Student Bean Shepherd's Pie HT MC 10mins
Serves 1 Hot Pork Pulses Vegetables Main Course Eggless
This is an easy, filling and cheap meal.
Ingredients 1 tin Baked beans 2 Frankfurters, sliced Hot Mashed Potato (either fresh or instant) A little grated Cheese
Instructions
1. Place the beans and frankfurter slices in a medium saucepan and cook gently, stirring from time to time, until heated through.
2. Meanwhile preheat the grill to very hot.
3. Once heated through, transfer the bean mixture to a shallow flameproof dish then spread the mashed potato evenly over the top.
4. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the mashed potato then place under the grill and cook until the cheese has melted and is golden and bubbling.
