Spaghetti with Sardines HT
Hot Pasta Fish Nuts
Vegetables Main course Eggless
x 400g/14oz tin Chopped Tomatoes
Garlic Clove, crushed
teasp Saffron, soaked in 4 tbsp boiling
and Black Pepper
Heat the oil and butter in a saucepan, add the onion and fry until soft. Add the
tomatoes, garlic, saffron (with it's water),
sardines, pine nuts, salt and black pepper
and simmer gently for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, bring a large pan of salted water to the boil, add the pasta and
cook for 10-12 minutes until tender.
To serve - drain the pasta well and return to the rinsed out pan. Add the
sardine mixture, mix well and serve
