Rice HT ACC
Pakistani 25mins plus soaking
4 Hot Grains Herbs Accompaniment
Gluten Wheat Free Pakistan Asia Asian
225g/8oz Basmati Rice
or Olive Oil
1 small Onion, sliced
1 teasp Minced Garlic
360ml/12fl.oz. Fresh Chicken Stock
1 tbsp freshly chopped Parsley
1. Soak the rice
in plenty of cold water for about 10 minutes then wash well under cold running
water. Drain very well and allow to dry
2. Heat the ghee or oil in a medium saucepan, add the onion and garlic and sauté
gently for 5 minutes until just soft.
3. Add the drained rice to the onion mixture. Cook for 3-5 minutes,

saffron, and parsley, mix well, reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 15-18
minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed. Stir with a fork before serving
