Grilled Pork Sate HT MC Indonesian 20mins plus marinating

Ingredients 900g/2lb
Lean Pork (fillet), cut into 2.5cm/1-inch cubes Garlic
salt and Pepper The
juice of ½ a Lemon 1
tbsp Ground Ginger 3 tbsp Kecap Manis
Instructions 1.
Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl, mix thoroughly, cover with
clingfilm and leave to marinate for 1 hour.

Preheat the grill to hot. Thread the meat onto skewers and then grill for about
10 minutes or until cooked through, turning from time to time and basting with
the marinade. Serve immediately with a sate sauce or extra soy sauce. Excellent cooked on the barbecue.
NB:
If serving as part of a traditional Indonesian meal, i.e. a rice/noodle dish
plus 2-3 other dishes, reduce the quantity of beef to 675g/1-1/2 lb.
Also good
served as a starter – just halve the amount of meat.
