A weekday Manu Recipe



Sesame Pork Kebabs    HT  MC  35mins


Serves 4    Hot   Pork   Main Course    Dairy Free  Eggless



140g/1lb Pork Fillet, cut into long thin strips

2 tbsp Sesame Oil

3 tbsp Soy Sauce

2 tbsp Honey

2 Garlic Cloves, crushed

˝ teasp Tabasco Sauce

1 teasp Sesame Seeds, toasted




1. Preheat the grill to medium hot and line the grill pan with aluminium foil.


2. Thread the pork strips onto long skewers concertina fashion and brush with the sesame oil.  Place in the lined grill pan.


3. In a small mixing bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, garlic, Tabasco and sesame seeds. 


4.  Grill the kebabs for 7-10 minutes on each side, basting often with soy sauce mixture.  Serve immediately sprinkled with any remaining soy sauce mixture.



Serving Suggestions: 

Accompaniments:    Boiled Rice and Beetroot & Orange Salad

Dessert:                        Creamed Tapioca Pudding
