Braised Pork Chops with Apples HT MC British 50mins Serves 4 Hot Pork Fruit Main Course
Ingredients 4 Pork Chops Salt and Pepper 1/2 teasp dried Thyme 2 Apples, peeled cored and cut into eighths 2 Onions, cut into rings 25g/1oz Butter 1 tbsp Olive Oil 90ml/3 fl.oz. Water 2 Teasp Worcester Sauce Fresh Parsley to garnish
Instructions
1. Season the meat with salt and pepper and brown on both in the melted butter and oil.
2. Add the water and Worcestershire sauce and thyme and cook for 10 minutes turning once.
3. Add the apples and onions, reduce heat, cover and cook for a further 30 minutes.
4. Serve garnished with parsley.
