Frankfurter Stew HT ACC 40mins
Serves 4 Hot Pork Vegetables Main course Dairy free Eggless
Ingredients 1 tbsp Olive Oil 1 Large Onion, thinly sliced 2 Sticks Celery, sliced 4 Large Tomatoes, cut into wedges 300ml/10fl.oz. Chicken Stock 1 heaped teasp Dried Mixed Herbs ½ teasp Garlic Granules 2 teasp Tomato Paste Salt and Black Pepper 10 Frankfurters, each sliced diagonally into 4
Instructions 1. Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and celery and fry gently until golden. Add the tomatoes and tomato paste and continue to cook until the tomatoes are very soft. 2. Add the remaining ingredients, mix well, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring from time to time. 3. Remove the lid from the pan, raise the heat slightly and continue to cook for 10 minutes until the liquid has reduced a little. Serve immediately with mashed potato.
