Butter for Greasing
250g/9oz Onions, very thinly sliced
250g/9oz Double Gloucester Cheese
1 tbsp Freshly chopped Chives
250g/9oz Streaky Bacon, chopped Salt and Black Pepper
300ml/10 fl.oz. Milk
25g/1oz Butter
Fresh Parsley to Garnish
Instructions
1.
Place the potato slices in a large bowl, cover with cold water and leave for 15
minutes. Drain thoroughly and dry with kitchen paper.
2. Preheat the oven to 190C, 375F, Gas Mark 5 and well grease a deep 18cm x 25/7x10 inch ovenproof
