Ingredients
75g/3oz Fine Breadcrumbs
Salt and Black Pepper
Nutmeg
1 teasp Dried Mixed Herbs
2 Eggs
120ml/4fl.oz. Milk
675g/1-1/2lb Buffalo Mince
25g/1oz Carrots, grated
1 Onion, very finely chopped
1 stick Celery, finely chopped
60ml/2fl.oz. Tomato Ketchup
Instructions
1.
Preheat the oven to 170C, 325F, Gas Mark 3 and lightly oil a 1gk/2lb loaf tin.
2.Place
the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, nutmeg and herbs in large mixing bowl.
3.
Add the eggs and milk, mix well and allow to stand for 5 minutes.
4.
Add the buffalo mince, carrots,
celery and onion and mix well using your hands.
5.
Turn into the loaf tin and level the top. Spread the ketchup evenly over the
top.
6.
Bake for about 1 hour or until
done. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before cutting. Serve hot.
