tbsp Vegetable Oil 1
small Onion, chopped

teasp Ground White Pepper
½
teasp Ground Nutmeg A
pinch of Salt 1
tbsp Vinegar 2
teasp Chilli Paste 1
tbsp Brown Sugar 5
Tomatoes, chopped
Instructions 1.
Heat the oil in a medium saucepan, add the onions, pepper, nutmeg, and salt and
fry for 5 minutes, stirring from time to time until the onions turn colour. 2.
Add the remaining ingredients, reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for
about 20 minutes, stirring from time to time, until the sauce has
thickened. 3.
Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Serve
as an accompaniment to meat, poultry, fish , rice or noodle dishes.
