Red Onion Pasta SauceVeg HT ACC 20mins
Serves 4 Hot Vegetarian Vegetables Herbs Pasta Accompaniment Gluten Wheat free Eggless* Ingredients: 75g/3oz Butter 3 Garlic Cloves, crushed 2 Large Red Onions, finely chopped 4 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped ½ teasp Dried Marjoram Salt and Black Pepper 270ml/9fl.oz. Double Cream Instructions 1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan and gently fry the onion and garlic for 3-4 minutes, stirring from time to time, until softened.
2. Add the herbs, seasoning and cream, bring to the boil then reduce the heat and simmer gently for 2-3 minutes. 3. Serve hot poured over plain or stuffed pastas such as ravioli, tortellini, cappelletti, tortelli, or Agnelotti.
Goes particularly
well with vegetable, seafood, fish, chicken, game or meat filled pasta dishes.
