Roquefort Butter    CD  ACC   10mins

 

 

Serves 4   Cold   Vegetarian Accompaniment  Eggless  Party Food  Eggless

 

 

Ingredients

4 tbsp unsalted Butter, softened
50g/2oz  Roquefort, crumbled
Freshly Ground Black Pepper

 

Instructions

 

1. Place all the ingredients in a small mixing bowl and mash together with a fork until well combined.

 

2.   Cover with clingfilm and chill until ready to serve.

 

If desired, form into a cylinder shape  which, once chilled, can be cut into serving portions.
 

 

Use as an accompaniment for vegetables, grilled fish or steak. Simply place on top of hot food so it slowly melts.

 

Alternatively, can be used soft as a spread for biscuits or canapés.
