Apple sauce for Pork or Goose

HT  CD  ACC  25mins

Hot   Cold   Fruit  Savoury   Sauces   Gluten  Wheat  free  Eggless  Accompaniment    

 

Ingredients:

500g/ 1lb Cooking apples

Water

1 knob Butter

Granulated sugar to taste

 

Instructions

 

1. Peel, core and chop the apples. Place in a saucepan with just enough water to stop them from burning - . You can add more water if necessary.

 

2. Bring to the boil then cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until very soft.

 

3. Drain off any excess water, add the butter and sugar to taste and beat with a wooden spoon.

 

 

Serving suggestions

Serve hot or cold.
