Beer Sauce for Fish
Vegetables Herbs Spices Savoury
teasp Brown sugar
tbsp Onion, finely chopped
Put the beer into a saucepan together with the vinegar, brown sugar, onion,
garlic, bay leaf, butter and season with salt,
pepper and cinnamon.
Bring to the boil then simmer for 15 minutes. Strain.
Mix the cornflour with a little water to form a paste and add to the sauce. Stir
until thickened. Serve
hot with baked fish.
