Blue Cheese and Sherry Sauce for Meat HT ACC 15mins Hot Vegetables Alcohol Savoury Sauces Accompaniment Eggless
In gredients1 Onion, finely chopped 50g/2oz Butter 50g/2oz Danish Blue Cheese 1 tbsp Mustard 110ml/4 fl.oz Medium-dry sherry 250ml/9 fl.oz Single Cream Salt & PepperInstructions 1. Fry the onion in the butter until soft and transparent. 2. Crumble most of the cheese into the pan and add the mustard and cream. Bring to the boil stirring all the time. Add salt and pepper and cook for a few minutes longer. 3. Just before serving, crumble the remaining cheese into the sauce. Serve with grilled or fried liver or meat.
