210ml/7 fl.oz. Double Cream

2 tbsp Golden Syrup

4 tbsp Sugar

2-3 drops Vanilla Essence

75g/3oz Butter




1. Pour the cream into a saucepan and whisk in the syrup, sugar and vanilla essence.


2. Bring to the boil then reduce the heat and whisk in the butter, little by little. Whisk for 5 - 10 minutes until the sauce becomes a little thicker. Serve warm.
