Cinnamon Sauce
Veg HT
ACC 15mins Hot Vegetarian Sweet Sauces Accompaniment
Ingredients: 300ml/10 fl.oz. Double Cream 300ml/ 10 fl.oz. Milk 3 tbsp Ground Cinnamon 6 Egg Yolks 6 tbsp Sugar
Instructions
1. Place the cream, milk and cinnamon in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Remove from heat.
2. In another saucepan, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar then pour the cream mixture onto the egg mixture. Stir well.
3. Return to the heat and warm through , whisking all the time. Do not boil. Sieve and serve hot.
