Maple and Apple Sauce for Pork HT ACC 25mins Hot Fruit Savoury Sauces Accompaniment Gluten Wheat Free Eggless Ingredients 4 Large Apples, peeled, cored and chopped 2 Cloves 1 tbsp Wine Vinegar 150ml/5 fl.oz. Maple Syrup 25g/1oz ButterInstructions 1. Place the apples in a pan with the cloves, barely cover with water and cook gently until soft.
2. Remove the cloves and liquidise or pass through a sieve.
3. Return to the heat and stir in the vinegar and maple syrup. Beat in the butter and serve.
