Mustard Sauce for Meat and Poultry HT ACC 15mins Hot Alcohol Vegetables Savoury Sauces Accompaniment Eggless Ingredients 1 Onion, finely chopped 2 tbsp Butter 200ml/ 7 fl.oz Dry White wine 3 tbsp French Mustard 250ml/9 fl.oz Double Cream Salt and Black PepperInstructions 1. Fry the onion in the butter until soft and transparent. Add the wine and boil rapidly until reduced to a quarter of the original amount. 2. Stir in the cream and mustard and continue to cook until thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with fried or grilled chicken, duck, steaks, chops, beef, lamb or pork.
