Pesto Veg CD ACC Italian 10mins Cold Vegetarian Savoury Sauces Accompaniment Gluten Wheat Free Eggless
Ingredients: 18 Fresh Basil Leaves 2 Cloves of Garlic, chopped 1/2 teasp Salt 50g/2oz Grated Pecorino Cheese 50g/2oz Freshly grated Parmesan Cheese 5 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
1. Chop the basil and place in a mortar with the chopped garlic cloves and salt.
2. Using a pestle, crush the leaves and garlic until smooth.
3. Stir in the cheese a little at a time - do not crush. Gradually add the olive oil, stirring until the mixture is creamy.
