Saffron Sauce for Vegetables Veg CD ACC 10mins Cold Vegetarian Savoury Sauces Accompaniment Gluten Wheat Free EgglessIngredients Pinch powdered Saffron 300ml/11 fl.oz Whipping cream 100ml/ 5 fl.oz. Crème Fraîche Salt & Pepper 1 tbsp Sesame SeedsInstructions 1. Dry roast the sesame seeds in a non-stick pan until lightly browned. 2. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the saffron. Simmer for a few minutes then add the cream and simmer for a few minutes more. 3. Stir in the crème fraîche, salt pepper and sesame seeds. Serve cold with boiled or steamed vegetables.
