Creamed Potato Soup Veg HT SP Finnish 15mins

 

Finnish Name:  Klapsakkaa

 

Serves 4     Hot   Vegetables  Vegetable   Herbs  Spices Soups  Gluten Wheat Free  Eggless   Finland  Scandinavian  Scandinavia  Europe

 

Ingredients

225g/8oz Mashed Potatoes

480ml/16fl.oz. Milk

240ml/8fl.oz. Double Cream

Salt and Pepper

1 Allspice Berry, well crushed

To serve

Freshly chopped Parsley

Butter

 

Instructions

 

1. Place all the ingredients apart from the parsley and butter in a large saucepan and whisk until very smooth.

 

2. Bring slowly to the boil, stirring constantly then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

 

3. Serve hot sprinkled with a little parsley and a small knob of butter in the centre.
