Student Sweetcorn Soup Veg HT SP 15mins Serves 1 - 2 Hot Vegetable Vegetables Vegetarian Soups Eggless
Ingredients: 25g/1oz Butter 1 tablespoon Flour 150ml/5 fl.oz. Water 1 Vegetable Stock Cube 240ml/8 fl.oz. Milk 150g/5oz Cooked Sweetcorn Salt and Pepper Freshly chopped Chives to garnish
Instructions
1. Melt the butter in a pan, add the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring.
2. Gradually add the water and milk, stirring all the time, then sprinkle in the stock cube and cook until thickened.
3. Add the sweet corn, salt and pepper and heat through for 5 minutes.
4. Serve hot garnished with chopped chives.
