Free Cranberry Apple Crisp HT Veg
4-6 Hot Fruit Vegetarian

For the filling
6 Granny Smith
Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
2 tbsp GF
For the topping
1 teasp Ground
Cinnamon (Check ingredients label)
Vanilla ice cream
or Whipped Cream to serve
1. Preheat the
oven to 190C, 375F Gas mark 5.
2. Place the
sliced apples in an oven proof dish about 23x33cm/9x13 inches.
3. Place the
cranberry sauce, sugar and 2 tablespoons of GF flour in a large mixing bowl and

cranberry mixture over the apples and toss to coat evenly.
5. Place the
hazelnuts, almonds, brown sugar, remaining GF flour and cinnamon in a large bowl
and mix well. Add the melted butter to flour mixture, and stir until well
6. Sprinkle the
topping over fruit mixture evenly. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until fruit
is tender. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped whipped cream.
