Crabmeat Stuffing for Fish HT ACC 15mins Hot Pork Shellfish Seafood Accompaniment Stuffings
Ingredients: 50g/2oz Butter 2 Rashers Streaky Bacon, finely chopped 25g/1oz Onion, finely chopped 75g/3oz Fresh White Breadcrumbs 2 Eggs, beaten Salt and Pepper Cayenne Grated Nutmeg 50g/2oz Crab meat, flaked
Instructions
1. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the bacon until lightly browned. Add the onion and celery leaves and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Mix in the breadcrumbs thoroughly, then stir in the well beaten eggs and season to taste.
2. Remove from the heat, add the crabmeat and leave to cool slightly before using.
May be used to stuff white fish such as cod, turbot, halibut, plaice or sole.
