Creamy Baked Mushrooms HT ACC 35mins
Serves 6 Hot Vegetables Herbs Accompaniment Eggless
Ingredients 450g/1lb Fresh Mushrooms 1 teasp Hot Pepper Sauce 25g/1oz Flour 1/2 teasp Salt 300ml/10fl.oz. Chicken Stock 1 tbsp freshly chopped Chives 120ml/4fl.oz. Sour Cream
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 180C, 350F, Gas Mark 4.
2. Place the mushrooms in a heatproof casserole and set aside.
3. Place the flour, salt and red pepper sauce in a saucepan place over a medium heat then gradually whisk in stock until mixture is smooth.
4. Add the chives and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
5. Pour over the mushrooms, cover and bake for 25 minutes.
6. Remove from the oven and stir in the sour cream. Serve hot.
