Fried Okra with Onions
Veg HT ACC 20mins
Serves 4 Hot Vegetarian Vegan
Vegetables Accompaniment Gluten Wheat Dairy Free Eggless
Ingredients
450g/1lb Okra (ladies fingers)
3 tbsp Oil
2 Onions
1 teasp Salt
Instructions
1. Wash the okra, pat dry on kitchen paper and cut into 1cm/˝-inch pieces.
2. Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan, add the onions and sauté for 5
minutes, stirring from time to time, until soft.
3. Add the okra and salt and continue to sauté gently for about 10 minutes,
stirring frequently until the okra is just tender. Serve immediately.
