Gingered Swede Veg HT ACC English 25mins Serves 4 Hot Vegetarian Vegetables Herbs Accompaniment Gluten Wheat Free Eggless England British EuropeIngredients: 675g/1½ lb Swedes, peeled and cut into chunks 13g/½ oz Butter Salt and Black Pepper 2 teasp Freshly Grated Root Ginger Freshly Chopped Parsley to garnish
Instructions 1. Bring a large pan of water to the boil. Add the swede and cook for 20 minutes or until tender.
2. Drain well then mash together until smooth.
3. Add the butter, salt, pepper and ginger and beat with a wooden spoon. Serve hot sprinkled with parsley.
