Habas Verdes con Salsa de Tomate Veg HT ACC Spanish 40mins
Serves 4 Hot Vegetarian Vegan Vegetables Nuts Herbs Accompaniment Gluten Wheat Dairy Free Eggless Spain Europe
Ingredients 2 tbsp Olive Oil 2 Garlic Cloves, crushed 675g/1-1/2lb Fresh Green Beans, cut into 2.5cm/1 inch lengths 450g/1lb tinned Chopped Tomatoes 1 tbsp Freshly chopped Chives Salt and Pepper 1 Bay Leaf 1 tbsp Pine Nuts 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Instructions
1. Heat the oil in a large pan, add the garlic and sauté gently for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
2. Add the beans and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes.
3. Add the tinned tomatoes with the juice, together with the remaining ingredients and bring to the boil stirring constantly.
4. Reduce the heat and simmer for 25 minutes. Remove the bay leaf before serving. Serve immediately.
