Honey Glazed Squash HT ACC 80mins
Serves 4 Hot Vegetables Nuts Dried Fruit Accompaniment Gluten Wheat Free Eggless
Ingredients 2 Acorn Squash
(about 175g/6oz each)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 200C, 400F, Gas Mark 6. Cut the squash in half lengthways but do not remove seeds.
2. Place the squash cut sides up in baking tin and bake for 30 - 45 minutes or until soft.
3. Place the honey, butter, nuts, raisins, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl and mix well.
4. Once cooked, remove seeds and fibres from the squash then spoon the honey mixture over the top.
5. Return to the oven and bake for a further 10-15 minutes until lightly glazed. Serve immediately.
