Louisiana Green Beans

1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
6 Slices Streaky Bacon, cut into bite-sized pieces
3 Garlic Cloves, crushed
450g/1lb Whole Fresh Green Beans
1 Large Onion, chopped
1 heaped tbsp Dried Parsley
1 teasp Creole Seasoning
1. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the bacon, onion, garlic and parsley and
sauté until onion is soft and golden brown.
2. Add the beans, salt and Creole seasoning reduce the heat to low and cook
gently for about 30 minutes or until beans are soft, adding a little water if
necessary to prevent the beans sticking to the bottom of the pan.
