Vanilla Baked Sweetcorn Veg HT ACC 55mins
Serves 6 Hot Vegetarian Vegetables Accompaniment Gluten Wheat Free
Ingredients 1½ tbsp Cornflour 50g/2oz Sugar 480ml/16fl.oz. lukewarm Milk 3 Eggs 1/4 teasp Salt 1 teasp Vanilla Extract 1 large tin cream style Sweetcorn
1. Preheat the oven to 180C, 350F, Gas Mark 4. Place the cornflour and sugar in a bowl together with 5 tablespoons of the milk and mix to a paste.
2. Add the eggs, beating well then add the remaining milk, salt, vanilla, and the entire contents of the tine of sweetcorn and mix well.
3. Transfer to a shallow ovenproof dish and bake for 45 minutes. Serve hot.
