Braised Peas with Lettuce

Fresh or Frozen Peas
Button Onions, cooked
Lettuce Leaves, shredded
tbsp Strong fresh Vegetable or
Melt the butter in a saucepan over a low heat. Add the peas, cooked onions,
shredded lettuce and stock. Season to taste
with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Cover the pan and simmer the vegetables gently for about 5 minutes.
3. Add the
sugar, replace the lid and simmer for a further 5
minutes. Turn into a heated vegetable dish and
