Brussels with Brazils Veg HT ACC British 20mins
Serves 4 Hot Vegetarian Vegetables Nuts Accompaniment Eggless Britain Europe
Ingredients:
450g/1lb Brussels Sprouts, trimmed 50g/2oz Butter 75g/3oz Brazil Nuts, chopped
50g/2oz Fresh Breadcrumbs Salt and Black Pepper
Instructions
1.
Cut a cross in the base of each Brussels sprout.

Bring a large saucepan of lightly salted water to the boil, add the Brussels and
cook for 10 -15 minutes until just tender.

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large saucepan and add the brazil nuts. Sauté
gently until golden, then add the breadcrumbs and continue to cook, stirring

Drain the Brussels well and add to the nut mixture together with black pepper.
Stir until well mixed and heated through.
An unusual alternative to serve with roast turkey, goose or pork at Christmas or Easter.
