Walnut
Camembert Pate
Serves
4 - 6
Ingredients
100g/4oz
Camembert Cheese 100g/4oz
Cream Cheese 100g/4oz
Shelled Walnuts, roughly chopped 1
tbsp Butter Paprika
To serve Grapes or Fresh Pears Crackers or Breadsticks Instructions 1. Place the Camembert and cream cheese in a food processor and process until well blended.
2. Add half the walnuts chopped into small pieces. Pulse just until blended. Do not over process. There should be discernable pieces of walnuts in the mixture.
3.
Shape into a round, wrap in clingfilm and chill for at least 4 hours. 4. Once the cheese mixture is well chilled, melt the butter in a small pan then add the remaining chopped walnuts and sauté until golden.
5. Drain well on paper towels then press the walnut pieces around sides and top of the cheese round.
6. Sprinkle with paprika and serve chilled with crackers or breadsticks and fresh grapes or slices of fresh pear.
