Mushroom Cocktail Veg CD HD 15mins plus chilling
Serves 4 Cold Vegetarian Vegetables
Starter Appetizer Hors d'oeuvre
Ingredients:
½ Round (Butterhead) Lettuce
225g/8oz Button Mushrooms, peeled
150ml/5fl.oz. Double Cream 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
1 tbsp Lemon Juice Salt and Pepper
Lemon Slices to garnish
Instructions 1. Wash, dry and shred the lettuce. Place
in the crisper drawer of the fridge until ready
to serve.

Place the mushroom slices in a bowl, cover with boiling water and leave for 2
minutes.
3.
In another bowl, mix together the cream, mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, lemon, salt
and pepper. Add the mushrooms and mix well.
4.
To serve - divide the shredded lettuce equally between 4 large stemmed glasses
