Mushrooms a la Grecque Veg CD HD Greek 20mins Serves 4 Cold Vegetarian Vegan Vegetables Alcohol Herbs Hors d'oeuvre Starter Appetizer Healthy Eating Gluten Wheat Dairy Free Eggless Greece Europe Mediterranean
Ingredients: 350g/12oz Button Mushrooms 120ml/4 fl.oz. Olive Oil Juice of 1 Lemon A large bunch of Flat leaved Parsley 2 Garlic Cloves, crushed 150ml/5 fl.oz. White Wine (check manufacture) 2 Sprigs Fresh Thyme Salt and Pepper
Instructions
1. Wipe or wash the mushrooms and cut off a thin slice from the ends of the stems. Leave them whole if they are small, otherwise cut them in 2 or 4.
2. Put the remaining ingredients together in a large saucepan and bring to the boil.
3. Add the mushrooms and cook gently, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes and remove from heat. Serve the mushrooms cold in their sauce.
