Two-Cheese Flan Veg HT CD MC 55mins Serves 4 Hot Cold Vegetarian Herbs Savoury Tart Quiche Main Course Picnics
Ingredients: 200g/7oz Shortcrust Pastry 25g/1oz Butter, softened 200g/7oz Full Fat Soft Cheese 150g/5oz Goats Cheese 4 tbsp Crème Fraiche 2 Eggs 1 tbsp Fresh Chives, chopped salt and Black Pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 200C, 400F, Gas mark 6. Roll out the pastry and use to line a 20 cm/8inch flan tin. Line with greaseproof paper, fill with baking beans and bake for 12-15 minutes.
2. Beat together the butter, cheeses, crème fraîche, eggs, chives and seasoning.
3. Spoon into the partly baked pastry case and return to the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden. Serve hot or cold.
