How to make Tempura

 This video shows you how to easily  make Japanese tempura using basic ingredients you will already have in your store cupboards or fridge including detailed instructions on how to prepare the ingredients, make the batter and fry the tempura.

Below the video is a recipe for a simple oriental style dipping sauce to serve with tempura.

Oriental Tempura Dipping Sauce

Cook and prep time 5 minutes

Ingredients
2 Parts Soy Sauce
2 Parts Mirin or Sherry
1 Part Sweet Chilli Sauce
1 Part Sugar
1 Part Sesame Oil
Thinly sliced Spring Onions to garnish

Instructions

Mix all the the ingredients together and heat gently in a small saucepan or in the microwave.

Transfer to little bowls and garnish with the thinly sliced spring onion.
