Tequila Mango Ice Veg CD DP Mexican 15mins plus freezing
Mexican Name: Nieve de Mango con Tequila
Ingredients 4 tbsp White Sugar
1. Place the sugar and water in a saucepan and heat over medium heat until the mixture boils and the sugar dissolves.
2. Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to cool then place it in a blender together with the mango and lime juice and puree until smooth.
3. Transfer to a freezer-proof container, cover and freeze for 2 hours, or until slushy.
4. Remove from freezer, add the tequila, and beat well then return to freezer for a further 1-1/2 hours.
5. Remove from the freezer, beat well then return to the freezer and freeze until set.
6. To serve - remove from the freezer 10-15 minutes before serving time. Place in blender or food processor and process until smooth. Serve immediately.
