Almond Cake Recipe

This is an easy to make cake which is made by the all-in-one mixing method

Ingredients

175g/6oz Ground Almonds

The grated rind of 1 Lemon

2 Eggs, beaten

175g/6oz Butter

175g/6oz Self Raising Flour

175g/6oz Caster Sugar �

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 170C, 325F, Gas mark 3 and grease a 20cm/8 inch cake tin with a little butter.

�

2. Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well with a wooden spoon or an electric whisk until the mixture is well blended.

�

3. Transfer the mixture into the prepared cake tin and level with a palette knife.�

�

4. Bake in the oven for 1 hour until risen and golden. Cool on a wire rack.
