Ingredients:
1 small onion
4 cloves
600ml/20 fl.oz.
Milk
100g/4oz Fresh
Breadcrumbs
50g/2oz Butter
Salt and
Pepper
Instructions
1. Stick the
cloves into the onion and place in a saucepan with all the other ingredients.
2. Bring
slowly to the boil then remove from the heat.
3. To serve -
remove the onion and pour into a sauce boat.
Bread Sauce is traditionally served with roast Turkey at Christmas and Easter.
